I have the LC80LE633U which I bought from CostCo because I was worried about shipping damage and having to return the unit and CostCo provides two years manufacturer warrantee and for $99 adds three more years full in home warrantee. I installed the TV and plugged it in. It immediately needed a software update. It found and logged onto my router without problem. However the software upload failed. So I called Sharp customer service. I learned I have a pre 2012 model which were known to have software download issues. But I could do the download from the internet using a USB drive. I hung up and dis the download. The software update failed again and I tried two different USB drives. Called Sharp again and was told I cannot use a USB drive bigger than 2 GB. So I found one and did it all again. The software update worked and the TV works excellent. I'm not sure how often I will have to update the software and if it will be manual or automatic going forward. I had not read anything about this software issue in all my research so I thought it appropriate to contribute my experience. Sharp customer service was excellant to work with. I setup the TV in the Store mode which is a brighter picture than Home mode. It is pretty bright and sharp as compared to my old Panasonic plazma. I think some of the detail washes out in the Store mode. I wondered what is the difference between the 633U and the 632U. It is the motion correction software. I really don't see any blur with motion so I guess the 633U was a good selection.

I purchased the Sharp 70" LED with AquosMotion 240Hz in Oct 2011 and have been astounded by picture quality.Just upgraded to this LC-80LE633U model. True LIFE Size on NFL Sunday. Top notch picture quality.Wall mounted it immediately. -DL
